Happy Valentines!

I made a quick card for Crazy Aunt Betty. She won't get it until after Valentines, but she will love the fact that I hand made it! Maybe she will forgive the fact that I haven't sent her a card or picture of the boys since 2005!

Valentines Day is Saturday

Here is a very easy card for your Valentine. The Heart to Heart punch goes with the stamp in the Love You Much stamp set. Just stamp the image and punch it out! It is great! This is Cool Carribean and Red Ridding Hood card stock.

Finally

I forced myself to make a card today. It wasn't that I didn't want to, it was more like there hasn't been any ME time in a really long time. Even though I had to totally ignore my family- I think it was worth it. This cute card will be one of the 12 cards we will make at the workshop at the end of the month. I like the simplicity of this one and the colors are great- Regal Rose, Certainly Celery, Brocade Blue, and Pretty in Pink.

Happy New Year!

How embarrassing that the last time I posted the title was Happy Thanksgiving! I hope everyone had a great Christmas. Mine was busy, fun, stressful, too quick. School started back today, but Alex got the tummy bug and had to stay home with me today. He stayed at home and I ran errands!

I am very anxious to do some stamping, but have zero motivation. I did not even send Christmas cards this year! Sorry- If you have a great idea or project to try let me know and maybe I can get motivated again!

Happy Thanksgiving!
I just wanted to take a minute to say enjoy your holiday and really think about all that you are thankful for. God has blessed me and my family beyond my imagination including giving me many of you as friends! I hope your Thanksgiving is wonderful!

I don't think I have posted this card. We made this one at the last workshop. The swoshes are stamped with versamark and embossed with white embossing powder. This gives a good white color for the background. I used the brayer to roll Chocolate chip ink over the embossing and then wiped off the excess ink. The card is made with Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, and glossy white card stock. Stamping guru, Jennifer M., suggested the leaf half ink stamped on the Thinking of You- It added the perfect touch!

This is the cutest card and I cannot figure out how to turn it around! I got the idea from the SU publication. It uses the scallop punch shape folded into the turkey feather shape! All the parts are punched out. I thought he was the cutest thing- wouldn't he be a great place card at you Thanksgiving table? Don't get a crick in your neck!

I really like this card! It is made of Kraft paper, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, and a Decorative paper SU put out a while back. It was the best paper (red and vanilla) and I would love more! The ribbon and Spare Parts brad (from the Lobby) make this simple, any occasion card complete. Please ignore the fact that no matter how hard I tried, I could not get any of the pieces of paper to go on straight! I don't usually have that problem, but today I just had to give up!

I am finally back! After a long break doing a lot of who know what! We have been working very hard at the house. Check the progress on the New House page

These are cards we made in September for my workshop.

This card uses the note card from the Carousel Notes.

I plan on posting new cards all week, so keep checking back.
