So while I was playing around trying to come up with a million ways to use vellum, I came up with this card. Really I was cleaning up and used scraps I had been playing with all day. The bird is embossed in silver powder then colored on the back, cut out and mounted to the card. The flowers on the left of the card are stamped with Stays on and colored with marker. Then the vellum is torn. I think the beauty of this card is the soft colors and flowing composition. Don't you love it too? (Please ignore the shadow on the card- you will never be able to duplicate that!)
Stamping, knitting, crochet, quilting and anything else I can do in my pink craft room.

Side step card measurements
Here are the measurements for the side step card we made at the last workshop. Remember these measurements are a little different than others you may see, but my goal was a card that folded flat to go in an envelope. Score the paper at 4 1/8th on the 2 inch side (This is half of the whole piece of card stock. Also the 2 inch width can be changed to any measurement). Score the other side at 1", 1 3/4", 3 1/8", 4 1/2", and 6 3/8".And the card we made...
